My name is John Mayfield and I am running for State Representative in the newly created 20th^th District.  The 20^th District includes parts of Independence, Sugar Creek, Buckner, Sibley and Fort Osage.

I will bring common sense back to Jefferson City. Special Sessions that cost $300k and $8 million Presidential beauty pageants do not create jobs or educate our children or make our communities safer. My district needs someone who will be on their side. I am a lifelong resident of the 20th District. I  raised my family here. I understands the diverse needs of our district.
